Seven years ago, Carrie was facing major gut health challenges with her top-performing horse. Carrie’s equestrian experience spans multiple disciplines, starting with Western Pleasure under the philosophy of Lynn Palm. A weanling she purchased turned out to be a natural show jumper, leading her into the competitive world of Show Jumping. Competing at the National Equestrian Center in St. Louis, Missouri, she found success in the High Junior Amateur division and had the unique opportunity to ride Grand Prix horses during college.
She also excelled in Barrel Racing, winning several races, placing second in the NBHA State Championships, and earning NBHA MO-05 Rookie of the Year honors. After college, Cowboy Mounted Shooting became her primary focus, and she has been competing in the sport for the past 14 years.
